Former President Donald Trump on Monday endorsed Arizona State Senator Wendy Rogers (R-Flagstaff) in her campaign for an additional term.
Rogers, who has remained a supporter of Trump’s calls to investigate votes through the Maricopa ballot audit, welcomed the endorsement from the former commander-in-chief.
“Wendy is a MAGA warrior who loves our Country and listens to her constituents. She has a truly great fighting spirit, is strong on Law and Order, securing our Border, and gun rights. Wendy Rogers has my Complete and Total Endorsement for reelection to the Arizona State Senate because she FIGHTS!” Trump said in a statement.

“Thank you Mr. President! We LOVE you because you FIGHT. Truly honored,” Rogers replied in a tweet.
Previously, Rogers was one of several Arizona legislators that called upon Gov. Doug Ducey to declare a state of emergency over the crisis on the U.S. Southern border.
“If the Biden-Harris administration does not care about the well-being and safety of its citizens, then it is up to the State of Arizona to do what it can. We respectfully urge you to consider declaring a state of emergency, utilize the National Guard to assist as permitted to secure Arizona’s southern border, and immediately seek support from the Mexican government to assist the state in stopping this unprecedented surge,” the group said in a letter.
Trump has remained active in the state that he narrowly lost to President Joe Biden.
Earlier this year, Trump held a rally at the Phoenix Federal Theater, where he pledged to support conservative candidates who run for office.
In other campaigns, Trump has endorsed former television anchor and journalist Kari Lake for Governor and state lawmaker Mark Finchem for Secretary of State.
